Folding and reuse
Pallet Collars: Inspecting Timber Boards
Timber boards should be checked alongside the hinge fittings before a reusable collar returns to service. Record visible damage and consider the complete package rather than judging the boards only from one side.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Inspect the full board surfaces
- Record cracks or missing material
- Check compatibility with the intended pallet
A practical example
A collar returned with one damaged face may look acceptable from the opposite side. A complete inspection helps identify issues before the next packing task.
Your next step
Have damaged components reviewed through your own handling process. Provide the collar size and replacement quantity when asking for a current quotation.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
