Pallet Collars: Counting Folded Stock
Counting folded pallet collar stock needs a consistent unit and a record by footprint. Count individual collars, then identify how many normal packs or intended assemblies that quantity represents.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Count collars rather than bundles alone
- Separate footprints in the record
- Identify stock awaiting inspection
A practical example
A strapped group of folded collars may not be a full normal pack. Counting the pieces avoids treating a partly used bundle as 120 collars automatically.
Your next step
Use the verified quantity in your reorder plan. State both pack and collar counts when asking for new stock so the purchasing unit is clear.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
