Packs and quantities
Pallet Collars: Purchase Order Units
Purchase order units should distinguish individual pallet collars, full packs, pallets and lids. Using one generic quantity field for all four makes it harder to check the order against the receiving paperwork.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Name the unit on each order line
- Record the collar footprint and height
- Show accessories as separate components
A practical example
An order line for 120 sets could be read as 120 complete packages rather than one normal pack of collars. State whether the number refers to collars or assemblies.
Your next step
Use the confirmed quotation as the reference for the purchase order. Ask for clarification before approval if the unit description or pack count is unclear.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
