Pallet Collars: Measuring Your Pallet
Measure the actual pallet before choosing wooden collars. A nominal footprint is a starting point, while corner condition, projections and the usable enclosure still need checking.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Measure length and width across the outside edges
- Record any damaged boards or projecting fittings
- Photograph the pallet corners and the top surface
A practical example
A 1200 × 800 mm label does not describe an attached bracket or a repaired corner. Include those details when asking whether a collar fits.
Your next step
Send the measured footprint and photographs with your enquiry. Keep pallet condition separate from collar dimensions so the proposed arrangement can be checked accurately.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
