Pallet Collars for Boxed Goods
Boxed goods should be measured in their finished cartons when a pallet collar enclosure is planned. Carton layout and access determine the useful fit, while collar sides do not replace a review of the goods' protection.
Part of our pallet collars buying and packing guides.
What to check
- Measure finished cartons
- Sketch the planned carton layout
- Record access needed during unpacking
A practical example
A carton footprint quoted before protective packing is added can understate the space needed. Use the dimensions of the box that will actually be dispatched.
Your next step
Give the collar footprint, number of levels and package contents in the enquiry. Include a battened lid if the packing plan requires one.
Discuss your collar requirement
Send the footprint, collar height, quantity and delivery postcode. Include any pallet, lid or divider requirements.
